The Kosciuszko Foundation mission and history began in 1925 with a commitment to fostering closer ties between Poland and the United States through educational, scientific, and cultural exchanges. Each year, the Foundation awards up to $1.7 million in fellowships and grants to graduate students, scholars, scientists, professionals, and artists, while also promoting Polish culture in America. For the past 100 years, the Kosciuszko Foundation has provided scholarships and served as a platform for Poles who have changed history.
